The spree of allegations between contending Madhavi Latha and Asaduddin Owaisi ahead of the Lok Sabha elections 2024 in Hyderabad, has intensified. Madhavi Latha’s ‘bow and arrow’ gesture video has added fuel to the fire. Owaisi and Madhavi are head to head against each other. Owaisi has alleged that the gesture was in front of a mosque. However, Madhavi came with a strong rebuttal and asked where did the mosque come from.

Panic buying of fuel in Mumbai and other cities across India is being witnessed amid fear of supply shortage. A few petrol pumps in Mumbai are even running dry as a result. This is a consequence of truck and bus drivers protest against the new hit and run law that punishes negligent driving. This new law provides up to 10 years of punishment for fleeing an accident spot without reporting the incident. But the truck drivers say this law is one-sided and harsh on them. The strike going forward is likely to impact the supplies of essential fruits and vegetables and hit the common man.

Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev will attend a series of crucial panel discussions at COP28 summit in Dubai. Talking about the summit, Sadhguru said that the presence of heavy-weight leaders is important to give significance to COP28. He further added Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s presence is very important and it’s being looked forward by the host country. “Significant people will come and they will take the conversation forward but still the presence of heavy-weight leaders is important to give significance to COP28...in terms of discussions and taking these things ahead, it is the teams which do the work, those teams will be there definitely,” he said.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on November 20 while addressing a public meeting in Rajasthan’s Pali, guaranteed relief in fuel price in Rajasthan that if BJP is voted to power in the state. He said that prices of petrol and diesel would be reviewed to provide relief to the poor and middle-class people. PM Modi in Rajasthan said, "...In the neighbouring states of Rajasthan, there is a BJP government... There, petrol is Rs 97 per litre... But the Congress government in Rajasthan sells petrol at higher prices...I give a guarantee that after the BJP government is formed, the prices of petrol and diesel will be reviewed... This will give relief to the poor and middle-class people...."

Nationalist Congress Party (Sharad Pawar faction) leader Supriya Sule on Tuesday called the Central Government’s decision to reduce the prices of cooking gas cylinders as a ‘Jumla’ (political gimmick) and said that the government never thought about inflation over the past four and a half years. Earlier Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday said that the reduction in prices of cooking gas cylinders will make the lives of women easier. Effective Wednesday, the price of a 14.2 kg LPG cylinder will be reduced by Rs 200 across the country. Announcing this decision, I&B Anurag Thakur shared the government's commitment to easing the burden on citizens.

From fuel to power, shortages have triggered street protests in recent weeks in Gilgit-Baltistan. Pak Military Monitor reported that the mood is getting anti-federal in the PoK area of Gilgit-Baltistan. The Awami Action Committee said that the national parties have used Gilgit-Baltistan as a 'colony' to be exploited by the federal authorities. The locals will continue the protest unless federal authorities are rejected in elections, the Pak Military Monitor reported. Desperate citizens marched against the government demanding flour, pulses, electricity and jobs.
