The Israeli military says it destroyed a Hamas military position in Jabaliya in northern Gaza, claiming the building was being used as an ambush point and weapons storage facility. According to the IDF, several Hamas operatives were killed after allegedly planning attacks on Israeli troops and attempting to rebuild Hamas's military capabilities from the site. The building was reportedly located close to the Yellow Line, around 70 metres from Kamal Adwan Hospital and about 170 metres from a school.

A historic mosque in Gaza has been destroyed in an Israeli strike. The Abu Salim Mosque in Deir Al-Balah, regarded as one of the Gaza Strip’s oldest religious landmarks, was reportedly reduced to rubble, with several Palestinians injured. The destruction comes amid continued Israeli strikes across Gaza and growing concerns over the damage to the region’s historic religious and cultural heritage.
