Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday was overwhelmed with emotions as he dedicated more than 90,000 houses completed under PMAY-Urban in Maharashtra. A total of 15,000 newly constructed houses of Raynagar Housing Society in Solapur were handed over to beneficiaries, including handloom workers, vendors, power loom workers, rag pickers, Bidi workers, drivers, and others. Addressing a gathering in Solapur, the prime minister said, “Under the PM Awas Yojana, the inauguration of the country's largest society has taken place." Fighting back his tears, he added, “I went to see it and wished if I had a chance to live in such a house when I was a kid. I feel content when I see that the dreams of thousands of families have been fulfilled. And their blessings are the biggest asset for me.”

Hamas Terrorists Group continues to attack various locations in the Kibbutz near the Israeli borders. Beeri, a Kibbutz, is among the worst-hit of the 14 Israeli border communities overrun by Hamas gunmen. Two women had a narrow escape when they were caught in a crossfire between Hamas militants and Israeli forces. In an attempt to save their lives, the women hid behind a car and the Israeli security personnel came to rescue them. Israeli media reported that over 100 people were killed in the Beeri Kibbutz by the Hamas terrorists. The conflict escalated when Hamas terrorists attacked several towns and Kibbutz in Israel. Israel's PM immediately announced a state of war and the forces retaliated with attacks in the Gaza Strip. The Israel-Gaza war has entered day 06 and till now, over 2,400 people have lost their lives.

Pakistan’s stance is also in favour of Palestine. Iran's foreign ministry also said attacks by its ally Hamas on Israel were an act of self-defence by Palestinians. Oman issued a statement claiming the situation was a result of “continued illegal Israeli occupation of the Palestinian territories”. Saudi Arabia also took a stance in support of the “legitimate rights of the Palestinian people”.
