Cases of depression and suicide among children are on the rise in India. Renowned psychiatrist and member of Indian Medical Association (IMA) and Indian Psychiatric Society, Dr Harish Shetty feels that an unhealthy lifestyle, disconnection syndrome and emotional stress is compelling children to take this drastic step. According to Dr Shetty, family bonding and good parenting can help deal with depression.
