CM Eknath Shinde inaugurates first phase of Mumbai Coastal road

Maharastra CM Eknath Shinde on 11th March inaugurated the first phase of the Mumbai Coastal road between Worli and Marine drive in South Mumbai. Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis and  Ajit Pawar and other dignitaries were also present at the event. Let us tell you that the work on the ambitious project started on October 13, 2018 and is built at a cost of Rs  13, 983 crores. The high speed corridor stretches for 10.58 km between Marine Drive and the Bandra-Worli Sea Link (BWSL). After today's inauguration, a 9.5 km-long stretch would be made operational. Mumbai Coastal road will lead to a significant reduction in the travel time of commuters. Watch video.

The devotees in large numbers continued to throng Ayodhya on January 27 to take darshan of Ram Lalla on the fifth day after Pran Pratishtha of Ram Temple. IG Range Ayodhya, Praveen Kumar elaborated on arrangements made for effective crowd management. Earlier, on the fourth day after the Consecration Ceremony, Ayodhya also witnessed a long queue of devotees. The Pran Pratishtha of Ram Lalla at Ayodhya Ram Mandir was held on January 22. The Ram Lalla idol was unveiled at the Pran Pratishtha ceremony after the hour-long rituals in the presence of PM Modi.

The sea of devotees continues to swarm Ram Mandir in Ayodhya for Ram Lalla’s darshan. Meanwhile, a unique devotee also entered the Garbhagriha of Ayodhya Ram Mandir on January 24. A monkey entered the sanctum sanctorum of the newly inaugurated Ram Mandir on Jan 24. As per Hindu belief system, the monkey is considered to be the descendent of Lord Hanuman. Monkey went near Utsav idol, and left without creating any trouble, Ram Janmabhoomi Trust said. Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Trust said that at around 5.50 pm a monkey entered the Garbhagriha. The interesting incident happened days after the ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony of the grand temple. Lakhs of devotees thronged Ram Mandir after the gates of the temple were opened for general public.

As Ayodhya witnesses an unprecedented rush after ‘Pran Pratishtha’ ceremony of Ayodhya Ram Mandir, PM Modi has advised Union Ministers to refrain from visiting the temple for now, according to sources. In the cabinet meeting, PM Narendra Modi advised all his cabinet colleagues to refrain from visiting the Ram Temple for now. The PM suggested that, due to the heavy rush and to prevent inconvenience to the public caused by VIPs with protocols, Union Ministers should plan their visits to Ayodhya in March. Over five lakh devotees have offered prayers to Ram Lalla in last two days. Uttar Pradesh Government is taking steps to manage the crowd. Today, CM Yogi also issued strict orders to the administration to ensure adequate security in the city.

Praveen Kumar, IG, Ayodhya Range, informed that there are two queues and each is 1 kilometre long. IG said, "Today is the festival of Paush Poornima in which people take a holy dip first. People from the surrounding areas are coming on foot. There are two queues one kilometre long each... Any belongings have to be kept in the Public Facilitation Centre (PFC)... There is also a physical frisking centre... We appeal to people to bring fewer belongings to save time...".

On Jan 24, UP Principal Secretary Home, DG (Law & Order) were present inside the 'Garbha Griha' to monitor the situation. The ram temple in Ayodhya opened its doors for the public today and a massive crowd gathered at the temple. People broke through the security at Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple in Ayodhya to have darshan of Ram Lalla. Some devotees got injured in the incident and were taken to hospital. Police and administration are on the alert to ensure comfortable continuous darshan for the devotees. Around 2.5 lakh to 3 lakh devotees have taken the darshan of Ram Lalla in Ayodhya Ram Mandir today. A similar number of devotees are awaiting darshan, and the local administration is making all the arrangements to provide continuous darshan to the devotees. The situation is under control now.
