According to the CISF, the baggage was found at the domestic arrivals area of Terminal 1 in the early hours of August 18. The passenger had travelled from Delhi to Ahmedabad on IndiGo flight 6E-2013

A full emergency was declared at Chennai Airport after IndiGo flight 6E-723 from Kolkata reported a left engine inoperative condition. The aircraft, carrying 224 people, landed safely on Runway 25 at 11:37 pm
