Like most of the pavements in Mumbai, one stretch of road at Jogeshwari East had illegal vehicles parked on it. The footpath was rarely used by pedestrians and dotted by abandoned vehicles. Thus, a Metro 7 contractor was roped in to reconstruct the pavement. But how do you reconstruct a pavement that has illegal vehicles parked on it? You just build a road around it. Yes you heard it right! In a hilarious incident, a contractor reconstructed a road without shifting the vehicles parked on it in order to complete the work within the given deadline.
