The US-Iran conflict has entered its seventh consecutive night of intense military exchanges, with both sides launching fresh strikes as fears grow that the crisis could spiral into a much wider regional war. According to Iranian authorities, US airstrikes in Hormozgan province killed three people and injured at least eight others. Tehran has accused Washington of targeting airports, railway infrastructure and other civilian facilities, allegations on which the United States has not publicly commented. In response, Iran says it launched retaliatory strikes against US military targets in Kuwait and Jordan, signalling another expansion of the conflict beyond Iranian territory. Kuwaiti authorities have also reported damage to critical power and water infrastructure following drone attacks, with multiple soldiers said to have been wounded. Iran has also issued a stark warning that "no political border will be safe" if the conflict continues to escalate, underscoring fears that neighbouring countries and regional military installations could become increasingly vulnerable.
