Prime Minister Narendra Modi on April 16 addressed a public rally in Bihar’s Gaya. During his public rally, he attacked RJD and Lalu Yadav and said even the court has passed judgment on ‘Chara Ghotala’ and accused RJD chief of being involved in fodder scam. He said, “RJD has ruled Bihar for several years but they don't have the guts to discuss the work done by their government. Prime Minister Narendra Modi on March 06 launched a scathing attack on RJD in Bihar, saying that when "Jungle Raj" came to the state, migration increased and the future of lakhs of students of the state was put at stake. Addressing a rally here as part of BJP’s preparations for the Lok Sabha polls, PM Modi said it is essential for Bihar to be developed for "Viksit Bharat" and the NDA government in the state has given speed to development works. Referring to the Rashtriya Janata Dal government that ruled Bihar for about 14 years between 1990 and 2005, PM Modi said that "one family prospered" and youth had to go out of state to earn their livelihood. "How lands were grabbed in lieu of jobs. The challenge of outward migration increased during the Jungle Raj, those who brought jungle raj only cared about their family," he said.

Only July 28, Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed the G20 Environment and Climate Sustainability Ministerial Meeting via video conferencing. He hailed India’s ‘Project Tiger’ which is aimed to promote the conservation of tigers. He said, “India has recently launched the international Big Cat Alliance for the conservation of 7 big cats on our planet. It is based on our learnings from Project Tiger, a pioneering conservation initiative. As a result of Project Tiger, 70 percent of the world's tigers are found in India. We are also working on Project Lion and Project Dolphin.” The Prime Minister also said that India is one of the top 5 countries in the world in terms of installed renewable energy capacity. “We have also set a target of attaining net zero by 2070. India has consistently been at the forefront of taking action on biodiversity conservation, protection and enrichment.” This statement comes near the occasion of International Tiger Day 2023 falling on July 29th which aims to raise awareness about tiger extinction and the need to save them.

Four children have been found alive in Colombia's Amazon jungle after surviving a plane crash and spending 40 days fending for themselves in the jungle. The siblings were rescued by the military near the border between Colombia's Caqueta and Guaviare provinces. Rescuers, supported by search dogs, had previously found discarded fruit the children ate to survive, as well as improvised shelters made with jungle vegetation. Aeroplanes and helicopters from Colombia's army and air force participated in the rescue operations. The president of Columbia Gustavo Petro informed about the children’s rescue from Amazon Forest on June 10. A Cessna 206 plane, carrying 7 passengers crashed between the route of Araracuara, in Amazonas province, and San Jose del Guaviare on May 1. The plane experienced an engine failure following which it lost control and crashed into the Amazon forest. Three adults, including the pilot and the children's mother Magdalena Mucutuy, died in the mishap.

Modi not only visited the Bandipur Tiger Reserve in Karnataka’s Chamarajanagar but also took a tour of the Theppakadu Elephant Camp in Tamil Nadu’s Mudumalai to meet the elephants from the Elephant Whisperers. Trying his hand at wildlife photography, he was also seen clicking some pictures during his trip.
