The US would welcome any country interested in using its voice to further deter the Russian offensive in Ukraine and play a positive role in helping release hostages and defeating Hamas amid the ongoing conflict in the Gaza Strip, US State Department Principal Deputy Spokesperson Vedant Patel said at a press briefing on April 18. Asked how the US and the international community can use Prime Minister Narendra Modi's influence to end the ongoing war worldwide, Patel said, “Specifically, first in the context of Russia-Ukraine, if any country is interested in using its voice to further deter Russian aggression on the people of Ukraine, we certainly would welcome that and in the current ongoing context in Gaza, any country that believes that they can play a positive role in helping us get to a release of hostages, helping us get additional humanitarian assistance into Gaza, and helping to defeat Gaza, they certainly should and are welcome to play that role.”

Israel-Hamas Conflict: IDF neutralises Head of Hamas’ anti-tank missile array

Amid the Israel-Hamas conflict, the killing spree of Israeli forces continued as they neutralised another terrorist of the Hamas group. Since October 07, Israeli jets are targeting various hideouts of Hamas terrorists in Gaza Strip. Now, Israeli Air Force fighter jets carried out an airstrike in order to neutralize Ibrahim Al-Saher. He was the head of the Anti-Tank Missiles Array of Hamas' Northern Brigade. IDF informed that in 2021, Ibrahim Al-Saher fired an anti-tank missile which killed SSGT Omer Tabib. Recently, Muhammad Katamash, the Deputy head of Hamas, was also neutralised by IDF.

Israel-Hamas conflict: Israel neutralises Hamas' top strategic commander

A nightmare for Hamas terrorists as Israel Air Force unleashed fury on militants’ hideouts in Gaza. In a major blow to Hamas, Israeli Air Force neutralised the National Security’s Commander of Hamas on Oct 15. The commander, identified as Muetaz Eid, was the Hamas’ strategic mind of Southern District. As a part of high-scale retaliation, IAF continued wide-scale strikes on Hamas military targets in northern Gaza. So far, Israeli Air Force fighter jets demolished 250 military targets in the northern Gaza Strip. Notably, two commanders of Hamas terrorist group were also killed on Oct 14 as the ‘Op Iron Swords’ intensified. Israeli forces have extensively attacked the Gaza Strip and military infrastructure as part of their high-scale retaliation. These strikes impacted Hamas by targeting its operational command centers, military compounds, dozens of launchers. Notably, Hamas’ “surprise attacks” on Israel last week triggered war and in retaliation, IDF unleashed fury on Gaza. Till now, the deadly war has seen killings of more than 1,300 Israelis including innocent civilians.

Israel-Palestine Conflict: Indian evacuees from Israel hail ‘Operation Ajay’

A flight carrying the first batch of Indians, who were stranded in Israel amid the ongoing Israel-Palestine conflict, landed in New Delhi on October 13th. The evacuees expressed their happiness as they returned home safely and thanked Indian Govt for their support. The Ministry of External Affairs has launched 'Operation Ajay' to evacuate stranded Indians from war-hit Israel. As many as 212 Indian nationals safely arrived at the Delhi airport from war-hit Israel. Union Minister Rajeev Chandrasekhar arrived at the airport to welcome the Indian evacuees. With folded hands, MoS Chandrasekhar greeted evacuees and interacted with the students. The war between Israel and Hamas has entered Day 07 and over 2,700 people have been killed so far.

Gunshots could be heard across the remnants of the Nova Festival of trance music early on October 12. Israeli soldiers patrolled the grounds, which only days ago was the site of a massacre carried out by Hamas militants. Drone footage showed horrific scenes, and scattered belongings at the site of the Nova music festival which was Hamas one of the first targets amid the ongoing Israel-Palestine conflict. The trance music festival was attended by thousands of young people which were the militants' first targets. As many as 260 people lost their lives and dozens were taken hostage by the Hamas terrorist group. Death, destruction, and bloodshed in war-hit Israel could be seen at the site of the Nova music festival. Hamas gunmen wreaked havoc in Re’im when Israelis were enjoying the party. Hundreds ran for their lives when Hamas terrorists launched an attack at the concert. Israeli military spokesperson called Hamas an ISIS and said that they won’t live with ISIS next to their borders. The war between Israel and Hamas has entered Day 07 and over 2,700 people have been killed so far.

Aditya L1 mission takes off with PSLV-57 rocket

ISRO successfully launched its much-anticipated ‘Aditya-L1’ mission to Sun from Satish Dhawan Space Centre, Sriharikota on Sept 02. ‘Aditya-L1’ is India’s first space-based Indian observatory mission to study the Sun. Spacecraft is carrying 7 payloads to observe the photosphere, chromosphere, outermost layers of Sun. ‘Aditya-L1’ is going to travel a distance of 1.5 million km from Earth, about four times farther than the Moon. Initially, spacecraft will be placed in a low earth orbit; subsequently, using an on-board propulsion system, it will be put in Lagrange point L1. The total travel time from launch pad to L1 will take about four months for ‘Aditya-L1’.
