Prime Minister Narendra Modi held a massive roadshow in Uttar Pradesh's Ghaziabad on 6th of April, as part of the BJP's election campaign for the Lok Sabha polls. The roadshow witnessed a massive gathering of people showing their faith in PM Narendra Modi. UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, candidate Atul Garg, Union Minister VK Singh were also present during the mega roadshow. It was a 1.5-kilometer-long roadshow and A large number of people gathered to participate in the roadshow, which was organised from Maliwada Chowk, via Ambedkar Road, to Chaudhary Road in the city. PM Modi in Telangana held a massive roadshow in the Medchal Malkajgiri on March 15 as part of the BJP's election campaign for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections. The Prime Minister was accompanied by State BJP President and Secunderabad Lok Sabha candidate G Kishan Reddy, Malkajgiri Lok Sabha seat candidate Etala Rajender and BJP vice-president Dr K Laxman. The roadshow took place from Mirjalguda to Malkajgiri crossroad. A large number of spectators gathered in the area to catch a glimpse of the Prime Minister during the roadshow. The Hyderabad traffic police earlier said that the traffic would be stopped in the entire area in view of the Prime Minister's roadshow. Security was tightened in the area in view of the roadshow on Friday evening. PM Modi is also scheduled to address two public meetings at Nagarkurnool on March 16 and Jagtial on March 18.The BJP is formulating strategies to win more seats in the Lok Sabha elections in the state this time. The party's top leaders have already focused on Telangana.

After years of delay, the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) 2019 has been finally implemented in India. The Union Home Ministry on March 11 notified rules for implementation of the CAA, days ahead of LS Polls 2024. The Act aims to confer Indian citizenship to persecuted non-Muslim migrants including Hindus, Sikhs, Jains, Buddhists, Parsis, and Christians who migrated from Bangladesh, Pakistan, and Afghanistan and arrived in India before December 31, 2014. Shortly after the announcement, celebrations broke out among the Pak refugees who had taken shelter in India. After years of delay, Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) 2019 has been finally implemented in India. The Union Home Ministry has notified rules for implementation of Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) on March 11, days ahead of LS Polls 2024. Home Minister Amit Shah, on multiple occasions, said that CAA rules would be notified ahead of the Lok Sabha elections to be held in April-May. Since 2020, MHA has been regularly seeking extensions from Parliamentary committees to continue process of framing rules associated with it. Following the passage of CAA by Parliament in Dec 2019 and its subsequent Presidential assent, significant uproar erupted in various parts of country. Over a hundred individuals lost their lives either during protests or due to police action subsequent to passage of law in Parliament. Notably, TMC, led by Mamata Banerjee, has been opposing the CAA which also included a massive uproar in WB. As Nepal grapples with the aftermath of the Nepal earthquake, India stepped up to help its neighbour by providing aid. In the hour of need, affirming India’s ‘Neighbourhood First Policy’, an IAF C-17 Globemaster carrying relief materials headed to Nepal on Nov 05. The flight carried essential relief materials and medical aid for the victims of the earthquake. The medical supplies including life-saving drugs, and surgical items to help Nepal recover from the devastation. India has been one of the first countries to provide humanitarian aid to the people of quake-hit Nepal. On November 4, Prime Minister Narendra Modi tweeted that he was deeply saddened by the loss of lives after a massive earthquake of 6.4 magnitude jolted Nepal in the late hours of November 03. In the deadly quake, at least 157 people lost their lives and hundreds of others got injured. The injured, including women and children, were receiving treatment in hospitals in several parts of Nepal.

Nepal earthquake has ravaged Nepal with immense loss of lives and property sending shockwaves around the world. In the wake of the catastrophe, Nepalese PM Pushpa Kamal Dahal arrived at the affected areas and took stock of the situation. After assessing the situation, PM Dahal immediately called for a cabinet meeting of the Disaster Management Committee tomorrow. Nepal was jolted by a massive 6.6-magnitude earthquake on the late night of November 03 and continued to feel aftershocks, with a magnitude of 3.3. Meanwhile, Indian PM Narendra Modi had expressed his condolences as he said that he is ‘deeply saddened’ by the loss of lives. India also released an emergency contact number for Indians who require urgent assistance. Efforts are underway to provide medical assistance to those injured in the earthquake. The earthquake's impact has not been confined to Nepal alone, tremors were felt in several districts of North India, including Delhi-NCR, UP, and Bihar.

A massive earthquake of 6.4 magnitude jolted Nepal in the late hours of November 03. According to the National Centre for Seismology, the epicenter of the quake was in Nepal at a depth of 10 km. As many as 128 people lost their lives and at least 141 people were injured in the deadly incident, reported The Kathmandu Post. The tremors of the earthquake were also felt in several states of north India including Delhi-NCR, Uttar Pradesh, and Bihar. Nepal PM Pushpa Kamal Dahal expressed his grief over the incident. Jajarkot and West Rukum have suffered the most, with 92 deaths in Jajarkot alone, reported The Kathmandu Post. PM Modi expressed his grief over the loss of lives and damage caused by the earthquake in Nepal. Indian PM offered support to Nepal and expressed India’s willingness to extend all possible assistance.
