Amid the Lok Sabha Elections 2024, Nagaland Tourism and Higher Education Minister and BJP leader Temjen Imna Along was seen casting his vote at a polling station in Alongtaki, Mokokchung. After casting the vote, Along said that every citizen should vote to transform the nation into 'Viksit Bharat' under the leadership of PM Modi. While speaking to ANI, Nagaland minister Temjen Imna Along said, "Today is a very important day for Nagaland and the entire country as the first phase of voting for Lok Sabha elections has started today. Every citizen should vote to make our nation into 'Viksit Bharat' under the leadership of PM Modi. We need to come out and cast our vote in favour of the vision that today's Bharat has for a 'Viksit Bharat'."

90’s Bollywood diva Rani Mukerji who rose to fame with films like ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’, ‘Ghulam’, ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham’, ‘Black’ spoke to ANI in a special interaction where she gave insights about her 27-year long career, her films, stardom, first anniversary of ‘Mrs. Chatterjee vs Norway’ and its box office success on March 21 in Mumbai. The actress who is turning a year older also discussed her birthday plans. In the interview, she dismissed the fact that content-driven films are only for OTT and not for the big screen by citing her last release ‘Mrs. Chatterjee vs Norway’ which was released last year on 17th March. DMK leader and minister for fisheries and animal husbandry Anitha R Radhakrishnan rolled out an advertisement in the Tamil newspapers on Wednesday. The ad had an image of a rocket with a Chinese flag on its nose cone, instead of the image of an IRSO rocket. The ad was intended to celebrate New space sport in Kulasekarapattinam. Indian National Lok Dal's chief Nafe Singh Rathee has been shot dead by some unidentified attackers in Jhajjar district. Rathee was in an SUV when attackers targeted him. He suffered serious injuries and was rushed to the hospital. Reportedly, the miscreants came in a car and fired at the INLD chief. ‘Sudarshan Setu’, India’s longest cable-stayed bridge in Gujarat was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on February 25. The Okha-Beyt Dwarka Signature Bridge, also called the Sudarshan Setu spanning 2.5 kilometres, holds immense significance for both residents and pilgrims visiting the revered Dwarkadhish Temple. Initiated by the Centre in 2017 with a groundbreaking ceremony, the bridge aims to simplify access for devotees commuting between Okha and Bet Dwarka. Before its construction, pilgrims had to rely on boat transport to reach the Dwarkadhish Temple in Beyt, Dwarka. The 2.5 km bridge has been built for Rs 978 crore which is set to give a major infrastructure boost in the region.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will dedicate Sudarshan Setu to the nation which will connect Okha mainland to Beyt Dwarka island. It is built at a cost of around Rs 980 crores. It is the longest Cable-stayed bridge in the country of around 2.32 km. Sudarshan Setu boasts a unique design, featuring a footpath adorned with verses from Shrimad Bhagavad Gita and images of Bhagwan Krishna on both sides. It also has solar panels installed on the upper portions of the footpath, generating one megawatt of electricity. This bridge will ease the transportation and significantly reduce the time of devotees travelling between Dwarka and Beyt-Dwarka. Before the bridge’s construction, pilgrims had to rely on boat transport to reach Beyt Dwarka. This iconic bridge will also serve as a major tourist attraction of Devbhumi Dwarka.
