Mumbai and Navi Mumbai were placed on high alert after bomb threat emails targeted Mayor Ritu Tawde’s office, Amitabh Bachchan’s Juhu residence, Diljit Dosanjh’s concert venue and VIBGYOR schools. Students were sent home early as police conducted precautionary checks and launched an investigation

The threats were reported to the authorities, following which teams from the Delhi Fire Service rushed to the schools. The premises were evacuated as a precautionary measure
