During an event in Mumbai on the birth anniversary of Shrimad Rajchandra, Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar on November 27, said that if Mahatma Gandhi were alive today, he would have praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for taking forward the ‘Swachhta Abhiyan’. “...Mahatma Gandhi was the ‘Mahapurush’ of that 20th Century…PM Modi is the Yug Purush of this century… Today, India is a country full of talent. It has a population of 140 crores. Today, I feel if Rajchandra ji was alive today, he would have praised me for passing the bill of providing 1/3rd majority to women in Lok Sabha and Vidhan Sabha on 21st September. If Mahatma Gandhi was alive today, he would have praised PM Modi for taking forward the ‘Swachhta Abhiyan’,” said Jagdeep Dhankhar.
