Following the Hooch Tragedy in Chhapra, Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on December 15 said that the people who will consume spurious liquor will die. He said, “Even when there was no liquor ban here, people died due to spurious liquor, even in other states. People should be alert. As there is a liquor ban here, something spurious will be sold due to which people die. Liquor is bad and shouldn’t be consumed. Last time, when people died due to spurious liquor, someone said they should be compensated. If someone consumes liquor, they’ll die and example is before us.”

On Wednesday, the boys arrived in Mumbai in Oman airlines, re-united with their relieved families with a tale of horror. The nightmare started for them on day three of their arrival on June 10,2010, when Ali Saleh visited them at their elder brother Hussain residence in Qatar and took their custody. He first took them to a house in Qatar and introduced them to Mohammed Al Marri, a policeman related to him at Al Hasa city. After spending two days there, Marri without informing Hussain drove the boys to an undisclosed location; it was only at the Saudi border the boys realised that their Indian passports were being stamped for entering Saudi Arabia.
