Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff unveiled the trailer of Bade Miyan Chote Miyan on Tuesday. The actors were present at the trailer launch event in Mumbai with the rest of the cast, where Akshay was asked about one advice he would give to Tiger as a young star in the industry. To this, Akshay's hilarious response made everyone laugh out loud. The advice was an indirect hint at Tiger's rumoured ex-girlfriend Disha Patani. Although they never officially confirmed their relationship, the two reportedly dated for a few years before breaking up in 2022. Meanwhile, right after Akshay's goofy remark, producer Jackky Bhagnani came up to Tiger and gave him a hug. Then, Akshay also gave Tiger a hug as both of them continued to giggle.

Sachin Tendulkar honored with 'Master Blaster’ statue at Wankhede Stadium

India’s Cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar's life-sized statue was unveiled at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on November 01. The life-size statue of Tendulkar, a 200-Test veteran, was unveiled on the eve of the India-Sri Lanka ICC World Cup 2023 encounter. The statue is dedicated to 50 years of Tendulkar’s life and has been installed by MCA near Sachin Tendulkar Stand at the stadium. Along with Tendulkar, his wife and Anjali and daughter Sara were also present for the function. The event was also attended by Maharashtra CM Eknath Shinde, Congress leader Sharad Pawar, BCCI Secretary Jay Shah and treasurer Ashish Shelar. Sachin is considered as the greatest batter to have played the game. He holds the record for having the most runs and centuries scored in both ODI and Test Cricket.

People enthusiastically performed the traditional dance to welcome India’s 5 times Chess Grandmaster, R Praggnanandhaa. R Praggnanandhaa won silver and finished as runner-up at the FIDE Chess World Cup. Several school students also thronged to the airport to welcome him. Meanwhile, his sister Vaishali on August 30 said that she had witnessed this type of welcome 10 years back for the Viswanathan Anand. She also said that it felt amazing to see R Praggnanandhaa getting the same love from all the people.

US court approves extradition of 26/11 accused Tahawwur Rana to India

A US court has approved the extradition of Tahawwur Rana to India as he is sought for his involvement in 26/11. Tahawwur, a Canadian businessman of Pakistani descent, was arrested in the US on an extradition request by India. “The Court has reviewed and considered all of the documents submitted in support of and in opposition to the Request and has considered the arguments presented at the hearing. Based on such review and consideration and for the reasons discussed herein, the Court makes the findings set forth below and certifies to the Secretary of State of the United States the extraditability of Rana on the charged offenses that are the subject of the Request,” said US Court Orders. Rana is accused of planning and executing the Lashkar terrorist attacks in Mumbai with his childhood friend David Headley. In 2011, Rana was convicted in Chicago of providing material support to a Pakistan-based terror outfit LeT. Extradition was contested by his lawyer, but the judge ruled that there are sufficient evidence to establish that he was accused of 26/11 incident.
