Earlier, Garcetti expressed his delight in attending an IPL cricket match in Ahmedabad. The US Ambassador Garcetti spotted witnessing IPL match in Ahmedabad alongside Jay Shah. He also visited the Sabarmati Ashram in Ahmedabad during his visit to Gujarat. Notably, Eric Garcetti officially took up the duties as US Ambassador to India on April 12.
