Megastar Konidela Chiranjeevi will be awarded the Padma Vibhushan announced by the government on January 25 in the list of  Padma Awards 2024. Reacting to this the actor stated that after hearing the news he became speechless. He expressed gratitude towards his fans and family members. Chiranjeevi is among the most influential and successful actors and worked in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil and Kannada films. He is known for his movies such as 'Vijetha', 'Indra', 'Shankar Dada M.B.B.S.', and most recently he was seen in 'Bholaa Shankar'. 'Padma Vibhushan' is awarded for exceptional and distinguished service.

In honor of late actor Dilip Kumar's 100th birthday, Film Heritage Foundation  founded by filmmaker and archivist Shivendra Singh Dungarpur, has organised a film festival to celebrate late cinema legend Dilip Kumar's 100th birth anniversary.
