Additional Government Pleader Jyoti Chavan informed a bench comprising Acting Chief Justice Ravindra Ghuge and Justice Gautam Ankhad that the Maharashtra government had decided to extend the deadline for drivers to learn Marathi by one year

The regulator informed the court that it would withdraw the licence cancellation order immediately and issue a fresh show-cause notice to Cipla. A reasoned order will subsequently be passed after following the prescribed procedure
