A Russian couple stunned New York after climbing to the top of the Empire State Building's 1,450-foot spire, where Ivan Beerkus appeared to propose to Angela Nikolau before both were arrested. The pair remained atop the iconic skyscraper for several minutes, unfurled a banner reading, "When the power of love beats the love of power the world knows peace," and descended before being taken into custody by the NYPD.
