While protest over BPSC paper leak continues, Lok Sabha MP Pappu Yadav on January 07 said that Jan Suraaj Chief Prashant Kishor should enrol himself in any drama show. He also said that he has called for ‘Bihar Bandh’ for January 12. On 6th January, Prashant Kishor was arrested for “illegal” fast unto death and granted unconditional bail shortly after. He has been hospitalised due to dehydration and infection.

Prashant Kishor Criticizes Nitish Kumar, Supports BPSC Protesters in Patna

Jan Suraaj leader Prashant Kishor voiced strong support for the ongoing BPSC (Bihar Public Service Commission) protests in Patna, urging the Bihar government to address the concerns of students. In an interview with ANI, Kishor criticized Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar for ignoring people's issues for the past 20 years. He argued that no progress would occur in Bihar until the people are awakened. Kishor stated, "A person who hasn’t listened to the people for two decades won't change in four days. Improvement will only happen when people realize their power and seek a better future for their children. They must look beyond religion, caste, and freebies and focus on a better future".

BPSC Row: Prashant Kishore warns Bihar Police and CM as he continues fasting

As Bihar continues to simmer with protests amidst the BPSC row, Jan Suraaj Party chief Prashant Kishor issued a stern warning to continue his indefinite fast until the Bihar government meets the demands of protesting BPSC students. The protests continue demanding the cancellation of the recent Bihar PSC exam which faces allegations of question paper leak. The exam was taken by over five lakh candidates on December 13.
