She was accompanied by her husband Ravi Rana. Earlier in the day, she performed Pooja at her residence. While speaking with ANI, Navneet Rana said that she has been working for the people of her constituency for a very long time and the people will support and vote for Prime Minister Narendra Modi.“I have been working for the people of my region for many years. This is a big day for me and my constituency. This is happening for the first time that voters of Amravati are getting a chance to vote for the nation-building, development and benefit of the nation. The people will directly support and vote for the PM Narendra Modi”, said Navneet Rana.

Tovino Thomas' Malayalam film, 2018, has been chosen as India's official entry to the 96th Academy Awards. The survival drama based on the 2018 Kerala floods was directed by Jude Anthany Joseph and released earlier this year. A jury headed by noted director Girish Kasaravalli on Wednesday announced that 2018 has been India's selection for the Oscars in the Best International Film category.
