Watch EAM Jaishankar’s opening remarks at India-Ukraine delegation meet

EAM S Jaishankar held a delegation level meeting with Ukraine Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba on March 29 in Delhi. In his opening remark during delegation meet with Ukraine FM, EAM Jaishankar said that a very substantial agenda for discussions has been made. He further said, “In recent months, we have had interactions at various levels, I am glad to see some of our bilateral mechanisms have also met and this has created certain momentum in our bilateral relationship. Today, after this discussion, we look forward also to the meeting of the intergovernmental commission. CM Eknath Shinde inaugurates first phase of Mumbai Coastal road

Maharastra CM Eknath Shinde on 11th March inaugurated the first phase of the Mumbai Coastal road between Worli and Marine drive in South Mumbai. Deputy CM Devendra Fadnavis and  Ajit Pawar and other dignitaries were also present at the event. Let us tell you that the work on the ambitious project started on October 13, 2018 and is built at a cost of Rs  13, 983 crores. The high speed corridor stretches for 10.58 km between Marine Drive and the Bandra-Worli Sea Link (BWSL). After today's inauguration, a 9.5 km-long stretch would be made operational. Mumbai Coastal road will lead to a significant reduction in the travel time of commuters. Watch video.

Mumbai Trans Harbour Link (MTHL): Watch exclusive night view of Atal Setu

Constructed at the cost of Rs.18,000 crores, Mumbai Trans Harbour Link (MTHL), also known as Atal Setu was inaugurated today by PM Modi. An infrastructure marvel never seen before in India - now a reality for Mumbaikars. This 21.8-kilometre-long Mumbai Trans Harbour Link bridge would help cover the distance between Mumbai and Navi Mumbai in just 20 minutes which otherwise takes 2 hours. More than 5000 workers and engineers worked every day for the completion of the project since work began in mid-2018. Many of the workers and engineers had to take an hour-long boat ride every day to their work site. MTHL inauguration will take place today in Mumbai by PM Narendra Modi. MTHL inauguration: PM Narendra Modi inaugurates Mumbai Trans Harbour Link

PM Modi inaugurated Mumbai Trans Harbour Link (MTHL), also known as Atal Bihari Vajpayee Sewari - Nhava Sheva Atal Setu in Maharashtra. Atal Setu is the longest bridge in India and also the longest sea bridge in the country. It will provide faster connectivity to Mumbai International Airport and Navi Mumbai International Airport and will also reduce the travel time from Mumbai to Pune, Goa and South India. Traditional dances were performed at Navi Mumbai's Uran ahead of the MTHL inauguration of Atal Bihari Vajpayee Sewari - Nhava Sheva Atal Setu today. Prime Minister Narendra Modi on July 29 inaugurated ‘Akhil Bharatiya Shiksha Samagam 2023’ at Bharat Mandapam, Pragati Maidan in New Delhi. While addressing the inauguration event, PM Modi took a jibe at the opposition and said that those who run the shop of hatred by doing politics of language will shutter down. Furthermore, he informed that now students can pursue their higher studies in the Indian regional language.  During the program, Prime Minister released the first installment of funds under the PM SHRI Scheme. These schools will nurture students in a way that they become engaged, productive, and contributing citizens for building an equitable, inclusive, and plural society as envisaged by National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. Prime Minister also released education and skill curriculum books translated into 12 Indian languages.

Amarnath Yatra 2023: First batch of pilgrims begins journey towards cave shrine

The annual Amarnath Yatra began on July 01 with the first batch of pilgrims from Baltal base camp in Jammu and Kashmir's Ganderbal to Amarnath Cave. It was flagged off by the Deputy Commissioner of Ganderbal, Shyambir, along with senior officials of Amarnath Shrine Board and the police at the Baltal base camp. The government also completed all arrangements for the yatra which results pilgrims being very much satisfied with the facilities including water electricity, food stalls, and medical and tent facilities. The 62-day pilgrimage will culminate on August 31. The pilgrims will undertake a 12-km journey from the base camp to the holy Amarnath cave shrine in the south Kashmir Himalayas located at an altitude of about 13,000 feet. Baltal, in central Kashmir's Ganderbal district, is one of the twin routes for the annual pilgrimage and the other one is the Pahalgam route in south Kashmir's Anantnag district. In preparation for the Yatra, various 'langar' committees started their practice on Wednesday, three days in advance, to cater to the pilgrims.
