Tension gripped in Maharashtra’s Kolhapur after some youth allegedly posted objectionable posts on social media with a reference to Aurangzeb and Tipu Sultan. Section 144 has been imposed in Kolhapur on June 08 following the reports of violence in the city. The internet services have also been suspended. A day after the incident, Kolhapur SP Mahendra Pandit held a press conference. He informed that the situation in Kolhapur city and the district became normal has become normal. The security forces in J&K have avenged the killing of Kashmiri Pandit Sanjay Sharma within 48 hours. The terrorist involved in the killing of Sanjay Sharma has been neutralised in an encounter on Feb 28. The encounter took place in Padgampora village of Awantipora tehsil under Pulwama, J&K. The terrorist has been identified as Aqib Mustaq Bhat, who was active in the Pulwama region. Mustaq initially worked for terror outfit Hizbul Mujahideen and was currently working for LeT's TRF.
