Ajmer train accident: Passenger train collides with goods train in Ajmer

A massive train accident took place near Ajmer today. Passengers sustained minor injuries after Sabarmati Express collided with a goods train on March 18. The incident occurred at midnight near Madar station in Ajmer district. However, no casualties have been reported so far in the incident. Several passengers sustained minor injuries and  least four coaches and the engine of Sabarmati Express train got derailed. The reason behind the train derailment is yet to be ascertained. Meanwhile, the rescue teams and railway officials reached the incident spot. Due to the incident, several trains have been diverted to different routes. Watch video for more information.

Violence is not just a way," Air India's pilot Captain told ANI. Earlier on January 14, a passenger was seen hitting the pilot of an Indigo flight while he was announcing a delay in departure at Delhi Airport. Following an incident of alleged assault against an IndiGo pilot on board, the accused passenger was declared 'unruly', the airlines said in a statement on January.

Japan Plane Collision: Unseen Video Of Onboard Passengers

A Japanese airplane A350 on Jan 2 was engulfed in flames at Tokyo’s Haneda Airport. The passenger airplane caught fire after a possible collision with a Coast Guard aircraft. In a video obtained by Reuters, stranded passengers can be seen screaming and panicking. Video footage from cameras installed at Haneda Airport by Japan Airlines and NHK captured the horrifying moment when flames erupted from the aircraft shortly after it touched down. Moreover, an immense blaze can be witnessed outside from the windows of the passenger plane. Meanwhile, all 379 passengers and crew members were safely evacuated. The Coast Guard is investigating the matter, and Haneda has closed all runways following the incident of Japan Plane Collision.

Ahead of the grand consecration ceremony at Ayodhya’s Ram Temple on January 22, the passengers alighting from the first flight to the newly built Maharishi Valmiki International Airport Ayodhya Dham hailed PM Modi on December 30. They thanked PM Modi for giving them Ayodhya Airport as a gift. Passengers were also seen paying obeisance and chanting Jai Shree Ram while alighting the flight. “This land is pure and sacred, this is the land of Shri Ram. There can be no sacred ground like this. To pay obeisance here one should lie down. When Shri Ram got down from Pushpak Viman, the same experience was felt. There is no limit to happiness today. Today is the matter of greatest joy and happiness in my life,” said Bhaskar Shukla, a passenger from Delhi. On the other hand, another passenger, Nitin Lalwani from a Delhi flight said, “Ever since I was born I found Ayodhya, a city which was backward. But today there is a feeling that Ayodhya has become an international city. Now we are waiting for 22nd January when the Temple will be inaugurated. People will come from across the world to see Ayodhya, a pure land of Shree Ram.”, he said.

The passengers were all excited for their journey and they even recited ‘Hanuman Chalisa’ inside the flight. After landing in Ayodhya airport, some passengers kissed the ground and paid obeisance. PM Modi reached ‘Ram Nagari’ on December 30 and gave several infrastructural gifts to the locals. Maharishi Valmiki International Airport was inaugurated in Ayodhya by PM Narendra Modi. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on December 30 praised Prime Minister Narendra Modi for inaugurating various projects in Ayodhya. He also said that the wait of 500 years is about to end with the consecration of Ayodhya Ram Mandir.

Brihanmumbai Electric Supply and Transport (BEST) has replaced Non-AC double-decker buses with AC double-decker buses. “Today is an emotional day, we all got emotional...my father used to take me out on this bus since I was a child and I have more than 2000 models of double-decker bus. I request BEST to keep these buses in a museum style,” said a passenger Yatin Angre.“We have a bond with double-decker buses. It is part of our family and we feel like someone from our family is leaving us. Double-decker buses are the pride of Mumbai, and we feel like it should continue its service,” said Gulabrao Aher, Brihanmumbai Electric Supply and Transport (BEST) employee.

An RPF constable allegedly opened fire inside moving Jaipur Express train after it crossed Palghar Station on July 31. An RPF ASI and three other passengers were shot dead and the accused jumped from the train after committing the crime. The accused RPF constable has been arrested by the police.
