Yu Deng, John Pardon, Jacob Tsimerman and Hong Wang were honoured with the 2026 Fields Medals at the International Congress of Mathematicians in Philadelphia. Awarded every four years, the prestigious prize recognises outstanding mathematical achievements by mathematicians under the age of 40
