Mumbai’s public transport ran intermittently on Monday due to incessant rains. BEST was affected too & the buses had to face flooded streets on six routes. Few buses had to be diverted causing inconvenience for the commuters.

As per the statistics on 19th April, suburban railway passengers reached 30 lakh and those travelling by BEST buses crossed 15 lakh, leading to panic among the authorities.
