Congress leader Priyanka Gandhi Vadra launched an all-out attack against Prime Minister Narendra Modi recalling Rajiv Gandhi assassination stating that she has seen several Prime Ministers who have sacrificed their lives for the country including her father whom "she brought back in pieces". Addressing a rally at Dharampur village in Valsad in PM Modi's home state of Gujarat on Saturday, Gandhi said in Hindi," I have seen such Prime Ministers. And I am not saying, that only my family members served. Indira Ji was there. She sacrificed her life for the country. Rajiv Gandhi was a Prime Minister too, I brought him home in pieces, he sacrificed his life for his country."

The Indian Air Force has inducted the Rampage long-range supersonic air-to-ground missiles which can hit targets at around 250 Km. The missile known as the High-Speed Low Drag-Mark 2 missile in the Indian Air Force was reportedly used in a big way by the Israeli Air Force during its recent attacks on Iranian targets. The Indian Navy has also inducted the missile in its fleet for the MiG-29K naval fighter jets, they said. The stand-off weapon will give Indian fighter pilots the option of engaging and taking out targets like communication centres or radar stations, the sources said. The procurement was part of the emergency powers given by the Defence Ministry to the armed forces to equip themselves with critical weapons and equipment after the standoff with China started in 2020. The missiles have a longer range than the Spice-2000s used in the Balakot air strikes in 2019.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on April 27 slammed Congress over politicization of Electronic Voting Machines. Slamming Congress, UP CM said that the people who are rejecting EVMs today are the same people who used to loot ballots. Speaking to ANI, he said, “Whenever Congress, Samajwadi Party, or any other party associated with the INDI alliance is losing elections, they make every effort to blame the defeat on EVMs. This is not the first time; we have been hearing this continuously since 2014. BMC's Mumbai Coastal Road Project Arch String Girder (Bridge) was successfully installed on April 26. After a lot of anticipation finally, Mumbai Coastal Road Project and Bandra-Worli Sea Link got connected successfully. Earlier, the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) allocated Rs 3200 crore for its ambitious Mumbai Coastal Road project in its 2022-23 budget. As per BMC data, the coastal road project got the highest share of budget allocation by BMC for the year 2022-23 at 17 per cent. This will benefit commuters, especially during peak hours in the morning and the evening when there's heavy traffic. Speaking to ANI, General Manager Planning of Hindustan Construction Company, Pawan Padiyar said, “The Bandra-Worli Sea Link was also constructed by Hindustan Construction Company, one of the iconic project in Mumbai. We are glad this time also we have constructed this iconic bridge for costal road. It is also adjacent to Bandra-Worli Sea Link. It is changing the aesthetics of Mumbai.” He further informed about the materials that were used in constructing this massive bridge.
