With temperatures on the rise, Mumbai is already feeling the summer heat. The city is expected to have clear skies over the next 24 hours, but the day is likely to be exceptionally hot. Meteorologists from IMD’s Regional Centre in Mumbai say the soaring daytime temperatures are due to strong easterly winds. As the heatwave sets in, experts urge residents to stay hydrated and limit their time under the sun to avoid heat-related health issues.

The fishermen families of Sheva Koliwada, displaced by the JNPT Phase 2 project, have been waiting for over 40 years for rehabilitation and compensation. Despite multiple promises from politicians and local authorities, their demands remain unmet.
