He called upon voters in Madhya Pradesh’s Rajgarh to give a huge victory to the BJP candidate Rodmal Nagar. Addressing the public meeting, Home Minister Amit Shah said, “Now, it is the time to bid a permanent farewell to him (Digvijaya Singh) from politics, but I have a request to you all that do his permanent farewell, but- Aashiq Ka Janaza Hai Zara Jhoom Ke Nikle... and for this, you have to ensure his defeat with a huge margin of votes. People of Rajgarh should make him sit at home.”

Voting for the Second phase of 2024 Lok Sabha Elections began on April 26. Several politicians, businessmen, actors and top ranking officials from the Bengaluru constituency of Karnataka came forward to cast their votes today. Businessman Narayana Murty cast his vote at the BES polling station in Bengaluru along with his wife and author Sudha Murty. Voting for remaining seats in Karnataka will take place on May 07 and results will be declared on June 04. Sudha Murty shared a special message for young voters after casting her vote in the Lok Saba elections 2024. She urged people to come out and vote. She emphasized the importance of active participation. "I want to tell everyone- don't sit at home, come out and vote, choose your leader. International Monetary Fund Asia & Pacific Director Krishna Srinivasan on April 20 praised India’s growth trajectory under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s regime. Speaking to ANI, he said, “India has successfully navigated multiple shocks we’ve seen in the recent past, starting from the pandemic to the war in Ukraine and then the recent tensions in the Gulf. Growth at 6.8 per cent in 2024-25 is a very impressive number. And this is largely led by private consumption and public investment. I don’t see any red flags in the near term, but I would highlight one important aspect. Now, India has a young, growing population. India is likely to add about 15 million people to the labor force every year. Now, if you want to benefit from this demographic change, you will need lots of reforms. I think in particular, I would emphasize the need for significant investment in education and healthcare so that this growing labor force can contribute productively to the economy.”
