As per the latest trends of the Election Commission of India, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is moving towards a comfortable win in Rajasthan. The party is leading on 114 of 199 seats in Rajasthan Election Results 2023. BJP leader Diya Kumari said that it is PM Modi’s magic which has worked in Rajasthan. Diya said, “The credit for this win goes to PM Modi, Amit Shah ji, JP Nadda ji, state leaders and party workers. Modi ji's magic worked in Rajasthan and also MP & Chhattisgarh. We will ensure good governance and development in the state. Law and order will be seen in the state now. The top leadership of the party will decide on who will be the CM.

Rajasthan Elections 2023: Voting for Rajasthan Assembly election began on November 25. Mass of people queued outside polling booths to cast their votes. Security was beefed up in and around the polling station to avoid any chaos The polling in 199 out of 200 constituencies will continue till 6 pm. Ahead of the Mizoram Assembly election 2023, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that BJP has worked in connecting Delhi to the Northeast states and that Mizoram has the potential to become a global tourist hub. He also said “When infrastructure improves, it helps trade, talent and tourism. Infrastructure brings investment, industries, and income, and also creates opportunities. During one of my earlier visits to Mizoram, I had promised to work for transformation by transportation, since then a revolution has happened across sectors due to the work of the BJP-led government... Till 2013-14, the total length of National Highways in the Northeast was 11,000 km, we increased it to 16,000 kms in 2023-23...". The Mizoram Assembly election is scheduled to be held from 13 October 2023 to 5 December 2023.

Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot on Thursday said that he will not fight for the post of Congress chief. His remarks came after the veteran leader met with party's interim chief Sonia Gandhi at her residence at 10 Janpath in the national capital. "I met Rahul Gandhi in Kochi and requested him to fight the polls (for Congress President). When he didn't accept, I said I'll contest but now with that incident (political crisis in Rajasthan), I have decided not to contest the elections," CM Gehlot said. Gehlot also apologised for the ruckus in Rajasthan triggered by his loyalists over a possible leadership change in the state after Gehlot was set to file his nomination papers for the Congress chief polls.
