Notably, Congress is all set to announce its Chief Ministerial candidate for Karnataka today. The Congress Legislature Party (CLP) has unanimously decided to leave the selection of the new Karnataka Chief Minister to the All India Congress Committee (AICC) president Mallikarjun Kharge.
