The activist was reportedly assaulted during a demonstration in Jaipur on Monday when two men allegedly slapped him while he was being carried by supporters

According to police, the incident took place on Thursday evening while the train was travelling from Kanpur to New Delhi. The officials said that the matter is being treated seriously and an investigation was launched immediately after the incident
