Prime Minister Narendra Modi on November 20 while addressing a public meeting in Rajasthan’s Pali, guaranteed relief in fuel price in Rajasthan that if BJP is voted to power in the state. He said that prices of petrol and diesel would be reviewed to provide relief to the poor and middle-class people. PM Modi in Rajasthan said, "...In the neighbouring states of Rajasthan, there is a BJP government... There, petrol is Rs 97 per litre... But the Congress government in Rajasthan sells petrol at higher prices...I give a guarantee that after the BJP government is formed, the prices of petrol and diesel will be reviewed... This will give relief to the poor and middle-class people...."

An IAF C-17 Globemaster carrying relief materials departed for El-Arish airport in Egypt on Nov 19. The flight carried 32 tonnes of relief material for the Palestinians as India continues to deliver humanitarian aid amidst the Israel-Hamas Conflict. It included essential life-saving drugs, tents, sleeping bags, sanitary utilities among other necessary items. The flight carrying the relief supplies will land at El-Arish airport in Egypt. Previously, India sent relief materials for the people of Palestine on October 22. India has been one of the first countries to provide humanitarian aid to the people of Palestine. The move comes amid the escalating recent war between Israel and Hamas. With no sign of a ceasefire on the horizon, more than 11,000 people have been killed in Gaza war.

Doda Bus Accident: Assar Sarpanch blames the administration for the accident

Thirty-six people died and 19 others were injured after a bus fell into a gorge in Jammu and Kashmir's Doda on November 15. Union Minister Jitendra Singh confirmed in a post on X about the 36 deaths and said that out of those injured six people were said to be in critical condition. Talking about the Doda Bus accident, the Sarpanch of the Assar area said alleged the administration of being least bothered about frequent accidents in the area. He said that there have been around 10 such incidents but the administration pays no heed. “36 people died on spot. It is being said that some people died among the ones who were critically injured… there have been around 10 such incidents but the administration pays no heed. Since the road has been constructed, we are just carrying dead bodies,” said Assar Sarpanch.

Drone visuals have emerged from the Assar region of Doda where at least 36 people died and 19 others were injured in a bus accident. The visuals give a view of the deep gorge into which the bus fell. 25 bodies have been recovered so far. Union Minister Jitendra Singh said that a helicopter service was being arranged to transport the injured. The injured were shifted to District Hospital Kishtwar and GMC Doda. PM Modi expressed his condolences and also announced ex-gratia of Rs 2 lakh from PMNRF to the next of kin of each deceased in the Doda bus accident. Rs. 50,000 would be given to the injured.

The flight carried essential relief materials and medical aid for the victims of the earthquake. The medical supplies including life-saving drugs, and surgical items to help Nepal recover from the devastation. India has been one of the first countries to provide humanitarian aid to the people of quake-hit Nepal. On November 4, Prime Minister Narendra Modi tweeted that he was deeply saddened by the loss of lives after a massive earthquake of 6.4 magnitude jolted Nepal in the late hours of November 03. In the deadly quake, at least 157 people lost their lives and hundreds of others got injured. The injured, including women and children, were receiving treatment in hospitals in several parts of Nepal.

According to Reuters, over 4,300 Gazans and at least 1,400 Israelis have been killed.
