Sam Pitroda Controversy: CM Yogi Slams Pitroda's 'Racist' Remarks

Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh Yogi Adityanath blamed the Congress for the 1947 partition and accused them of consistently dividing the nation along caste, regional, and linguistic lines in response to Sam Pitroda's controversial remarks about people's appearances in different parts of India.Expanding his remarks, he suggested that the Congress party should apologise to the country for what Sam Pitroda said. It shows the dangerous mindset of the Congress party, he added.“Congress is responsible for the partition in 1947, it is responsible for the horrors of partition. Even after the independence, it has committed the sin of dividing the country in the name of caste, region, and language. Sam Pitroda's remark is highly condemnable. Congress party should apologise to the country for the things it is making Sam Pitroda say...This shows the dangerous mindset of Congress. It is highly condemnable”, said Yogi Adityanath.

Pakistan remarks on “Hindutva fascism” at UNGA, India’s Ambassador responds

India’s Ambassador to the UN, Ruchira Kamboj gave a befitting reply to her Pakistani counterpart in UNGA, without taking the country’s name. During a discussion, while delivering his speech, Pakistan’s Permanent Representative to the UN, Munir Akram said, “Unless Hindutva fascism is opposed, unless the sense of impunity of the BJP, RSS is ended, unless the Indian Muslims are protected against genocide, and unless the Kashmir dispute is peacefully solved, wider violence and conflict in South Asia is a real and present danger.” Without taking country’s name, Ruchira said, “In this assembly, as we endeavour to cultivate the culture of peace amid these challenging times, our focus remains steadfast on constructive dialogue. We thus choose to set aside remarks from a certain delegation which not only lack decorum, but also detract from our collective efforts due to their destructive and punishious nature. We would strongly encourage that delegation to align with the central principles of respect and diplomacy, that must always guide our discussions. Or is that too much to ask of a country that harbours the most dubious track record on all aspects in itself.”

CM Yogi Adityanath attacks Rahul Gandhi’s “Raja, Maharaja” remarks

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath criticized Congress leader Rahul Gandhi for his recent remarks about Indian heritage, particularly on Raja and Maharaja, stating that "accidental Hindus" like Gandhi cannot appreciate the rich traditions of India. He noted that people who are unfamiliar with the country's history and geography often make irrelevant statements. Reflecting on Gandhi's comments, Yogi Adityanath recalled that Gandhi once described himself as an "accidental Hindu." The Chief Minister emphasized that India has a diverse and vibrant heritage, with contributions from sages, Maharajas, and various segments of society. He also pointed out that Rahul Gandhi has seemingly overlooked the atrocities committed by the Mughals in their attempts to Islamize India. According to Yogi Adityanath, it's unfortunate that those who refer to themselves as "accidental Hindus" struggle to take pride in India's rich cultural legacy.
