A fire broke out inside Kolkata's Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose International Airport on Wednesday evening. Three fire tenders were rushed to the spot to bring the blaze under control. The airport authorities said that the fire broke out at 9:12 pm and was fully extinguished by 9:40 pm. Union Minister for Civil Aviation & Steel, Jyotiraditya M. Scindia, while talking about the fire incident tweeted. Later, flight operations have been resumed and no casualties have been reported.

Around 10-12 coaches of Coromandel Express derailed near Bahanaga Railway station and ‘infringed’ into the opposite track. Another train coming on the same track, side crashed into the derailed coaches of Coromandel Express and also got derailed.
