The IT employees in India’s Silicon City, Bengaluru on March 13, expressed dismay amid the Bengaluru water crisis in the Karnataka state. The depletion of groundwater and drying up of more than 3,000 borewells in the capital city has made it difficult for people here. The IT employees are now choosing Work from Home (WFH) due to water scarcity in Bengaluru. “If we get work from home it will be good as the water will be saved...it will save our time and water,” said Amogh, an IT employee. “More amount of water is spent if the employees go to the offices. It’s better to get work from home… Never thought that we would get WFH because of water scarcity,” said Varsha, an IT employee.

The Supreme Court praised the growing Indian economy as robust and recognised in the world. The Supreme Court’s observation came while hearing the suit filed by Kerala Government against Centre. The Kerala Govt accused the Centre of not allowing it to borrow more money to meet its needs. Justices Surya Kant, KV Vishwanathan were hearing Kerala Govt’s plea raising the grave financial crisis. The Supreme Court remarked that India's economy is robust and is recognised in the entire world. Notably, India is currently the fifth largest economy of the world and visions to become the third largest soon. PM Modi has exuded confidence in returning to power and making the nation third-largest economy. External Affairs Minister also recently said that the country will soon move to grab the third position.

As Abu Dhabi’s first hindu temple, Bochanwasi Akshar Purushottam Sanstha (BAPS) mandir is set to be inaugurated on 14th February, catch the mesmerising inside visuals of the UAE’s first Hindu temple, BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir. The BAPS Hindu Mandir is UAE’s first traditional Hindu stone temple. PM Modi had launched the project for the construction of the temple in 2015. The temple is ready to be inaugurated by PM Modi on February 14, during his two-day visit to the UAE. Preparations are in full swing in Abu Dhabi ahead of the inauguration of 'BAPS Mandir,' the first Hindu temple in UAE. Volunteers of the temple have expressed their enthusiasm and termed it a "dream" that has come true for "everyone in the Indian community."

Rohit Pawar reached the ED office along with NCP working president Supriya Sule in Mumbai. Before entering the ED office, Rohit Pawar touched Supriya Sule’s feet and took her blessings. Supriya Sule said, "If we have not done anything wrong, there is no question of coming under the pressure of investigations...". She also said, “"Investigation must be transparent and fair. Days after, MV Chem Pluto, a merchant ship, was hit by a suspected drone strike in the Arabian Sea near Gujarat coast on Dec 23, India has issued a stern warning to the attackers of the merchant vessels near the Indian sea borders. Defence Minister, in an event in Mumbai, openly said about the India drone strike that “they will hunt down the culprits from the bottom of the sea.” Moreover, Indian Navy also assured that they will take ‘robust action’ and will intensify monitoring. Notably, 20 Indians were onboard the ship during the incident that took place 217 nautical miles off the Porbandar coast. While, no one has claimed responsibility for the drone strike in the Arabian sea, US Central Command claimed that the drone attack was fired by Iran-backed Houthi militants. Houthi forces in Yemen have been targeting commercial ships in the Red Sea, claiming the attacks as revenge against Israel. However, the Indian Navy on Dec 24 clarified that it wasn’t an India-flagged vessel, as claimed by the US earlier. India, a strong advocate for the free movement of commercial shipping, is monitoring these attacks.

On December 26th, the Delhi Fire Service received a call about a blast near the Israel Embassy in Chanakyapuri area. Delhi Police top officials, NIA team and Forensic Team soon reached the spot and investigated the matter. Israel Embassy confirmed that around 5:10 pm there was a blast at close proximity to the embassy. The Delhi Police has intensified its probe into a low intensity Israel embassy blast that occurred near the Israel Embassy here and sources said two youths were caught on camera walking on the road close to the spot shortly before the explosion. The police have also beefed up security in the national capital after Tuesday's blast near the embassy in the Chanakyapuri diplomatic enclave, an official said.

India remained a strategic partner but US take alleged assassination plot ‘very seriously’, said White House spokesperson John Kirby. US Department of Justice on November 30 unsealed an indictment against an Indian national. US’ indictment was unsealed alleging murder-for-hire charges against Indian national Nikhil Gupta.

ISRO attempted a Flight Test Vehicle Abort Mission, a key part of mission Gaganyaan, on October 21. However, the lift-off attempt failed because engine ignition could not happen in a nominal course. Gaganyaan Test Vehicle- Demonstration launch was put on hold at T-00:05 seconds. Later, taking to X, ISRO shared information that the reason for the hold was identified and corrected.
