During a public rally in Rajasthan's Churu on April 4th, Prime Minister Narendra Modi revisited the memory of the 'Balakot airstrike' before reciting his renowned poem "Saugandh mujhe is mitti ki, main desh nahi mitne dunga." He reminisced about being in Churu at the time of the airstrike on February 26th. “When I came to Churu on 26th February 2019, at that time the country had carried out an air strike in Balakot. We had taught a lesson to the terrorists. At that time I had said I would not let Mother India bow down...When our army carried out surgical strikes and air strikes, Congress and the people of this 'Ghamandia' alliance were asking for proof. Dividing the country and insulting our army is the identity of the Congress Party”, said Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar addressed the Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Ahmedabad on April 02. While addressing the event, the External Affairs Minister categorically spoke about the India-China issues. He further hit out at India’s first Prime Minister Jawahar Lal Nehru-led government and alleged that they made policies that favoured China more than India itself. External Affairs Minister Dr S Jaishankar said, "In 1950, there was an exchange of views between Sardar Patel and (Jawaharlal) Nehru... Sardar Patel had warned Jawaharlal Nehru about China. Sardar Patel said that today we are facing a situation of two fronts (Pakistan and China), which for India has never happened in our history before. Sardar Patel also said that whatever the Chinese are saying, he feels that their intent is not good, and therefore, let us take precautions, and build a policy around this. Nehru's position was that he was completely dissenting. He replied to Patel that you are unnecessarily suspicious of the Chinese... Also, it is impossible for anybody to attack us across the Himalayas".

He said, “With 968 million registered voters, 15 million elections officials and 1.2 million polling booths the upcoming 18th edition of National Election is the largest electoral logistics exercise that this planet has ever witnessed. Well indeed, this is the celebration of democracy, the mammoth exercise involves navigating through remote villages and challenging geographical terrains, incorporating measures to enable our senior citizens and differently-abled persons to participate fully in the electoral process.”

India’s External Affairs Minister Dr S Jaishankar on March 08 snubbed the ‘double standard allegations against India. He was told that India has not criticised Russia in the country’s ongoing conflict with Ukraine and people think of it as “double st andards” of India. To this, Jaishankar sharply replied and said, “We in India know better than almost any other country. Because immediately after our independence, we experienced aggression. We experienced an effort to change our boundaries and even today, parts of India are occupied by another country. But we did not see the world responds saying that there’s a great principle involved and therefore let us all go with India. Yes, today we are being told that there are principles involved. I wish I had seen that principle in play for the last 80 years. Humiliating China, External Affairs Minister Dr S Jaishankar on March 07 at the Raisina Roundtable in Tokyo said “Whether you like or don’t like it. There’s reality out there. India’s External Affairs Minister Dr S Jaishankar on 5th of March revealed how he left his “well-paying corporate job” to join Politics. He recalls that Prime Minister Narendra Modi asked him to join the government. “Personally it was a surprise, I never even thought about it, but, one of the reasons I never thought about it was that nobody in my family even remotely thought about it,” said EAM Jaishankar while interacting with Indian community in Seoul.
