Sahara Group Managing Worker and Chairman Subrata Roy passed away on November 14 due to cardiorespiratory arrest. The 75-year-old was facing complications arising from metastatic malignancy, hypertension, and diabetes. He was admitted to Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital in Mumbai on November 12 after his health condition became worse.

Just ahead of the IPL auction, the Sahara India group announced its dissociation with the Indian cricket team and Pune Warriors IPL team.
