Launching a scathing attack on AIMIM chief, Asaduddin Owaisi, Kompella Madhavi Latha, who has been fielded by the party from the Hyderabad seat for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections 2024, said on Saturday that the constituency was neglected. On her candidature from Hyderabad constituency, BJP leader Madhavi Latha says, "I have been seeing for last 8 years... There is no cleanliness and education. Children in Madrasas are not getting food. Temples and Hindu homes are being occupied illegally. Muslim children are uneducated. There is child labour... They have no education or future... They have only one thing to do, riot. and those who are making this happen are taking advantage of it... The old city is in the center of Hyderabad but there is poverty over there...".

Lok Sabha Elections 2024: BJP announces PM Modi’s candidature from Varanasi

BJP has fielded PM Modi from Varanasi for the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections 2024. BJP on March 02 released its first list of 195 candidates for the upcoming Lok Sabha Polls. Of 195 candidates, 34 are ministers from the Centre, States while two are former CMs. The party Notably, PM Narendra Modi will be seeking the third consecutive term from Varanasi constituency. Taking to X, PM Modi expressed his gratitude to the party and its workers for showing a constant faith in him. He further said that efforts made by the Centre in last ten years will continue with even greater vigour. In 2014, PM Modi defeated AAP supremo Arvind Kejriwal and in 2019, he won against Samajwadi Party’s Shalini Yadav.
