K Annamalai criticizes DMK over freshly released Electoral Bonds data

Lottery king Santiago Martin's Future Gaming was the biggest purchaser of electoral bonds at Rs 1,368 crore, of which nearly 37 per cent went to the DMK, the Election Commission data showed on March 17. The company donated Rs 509 crore to Tamil Nadu's ruling party, Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK), through the electoral bond. Tamil Nadu’s BJP Chief K Annamalai slammed the DMK-led MK Stalin Government and said, “How can you get 90 per cent from a company that too is involved in lottery and gaming? DMK has to come out. Chief Minister has gone against one private new magazine in Tamil Nadu for defamation, where he has given in writing to a Court an affidavit that he never took money from any of the companies that are involved in the gambling and gaming business.”

Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge on March 11 blasted out on Prime Minsiter Narendra Modi over Electoral Bonds. Kharge claimed that PM Modi wants to hide his party’s dark deeds. “SBI asking for 4 months to provide the data of electoral bonds proves that the Modi government is trying to cover up its dark deeds… If SBI has the data then bring out the list, then why hide it?  Prime Minister Narendra Modi spoke to Sunita Devi from Sitapur, UP during ‘Mann Ki Baat’ on February 25. Prime Minister Modi lauded the efforts of Sunita on the phone call. Drone Didi is a landmark effort to empower women working in the agriculture sector. It involves the deployment of 15,000 drones and making 'drone didis' out of women—(SHGs) under the Pradhan Mantri Mahila Kisan Drone Kendras initiative. “I am very happy to speak to the PM... People think that women cannot do anything other than the household chores, but if a woman decides, she can do everything... We use drones to spray the fields that are large in area. It saves time.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday was overwhelmed with emotions as he dedicated more than 90,000 houses completed under PMAY-Urban in Maharashtra. A total of 15,000 newly constructed houses of Raynagar Housing Society in Solapur were handed over to beneficiaries, including handloom workers, vendors, power loom workers, rag pickers, Bidi workers, drivers, and others. Addressing a gathering in Solapur, the prime minister said, “Under the PM Awas Yojana, the inauguration of the country's largest society has taken place." Fighting back his tears, he added, “I went to see it and wished if I had a chance to live in such a house when I was a kid. I feel content when I see that the dreams of thousands of families have been fulfilled. And their blessings are the biggest asset for me.”

Amrit Bharat Train: PM Modi to flag off first Amrit Bharat train soon

With target of 4,500 Vande Bharat trains by 2047 underway, PM Modi is all set to flag-off Amrit Bharat Train. Railways Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw on December 25 visited New Delhi Railway station to inspect the newly built train. The Amrit Bharat Express train looks magnificent in the colour of orange and grey. Vaishnaw boarded the train and took stock of the advance technologies in the passenger vehicle. This comes when the government is already on a mission to run 4,500 Vande Bharat trains by 2047. Notably, both, Vande Bharat and Amrit Bharat trains are part of PM Modi’s 'Make in India' Initiative.
