His deteriorating health has prompted growing calls for immediate medical intervention, with an urgent petition now set to be heard by the Delhi High Court seeking appropriate medical assistance. Wangchuk has continued the hunger strike in support of demands linked to education reforms, with protesters also calling for Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan's resignation over the NEET paper leak controversy. A delegation led by Congress MP Shashi Tharoor is currently in Bogotá, Colombia, to raise awareness about Operation Sindoor and reaffirm India’s stance on cross-border terrorism. In a message to Colombia, Tharoor expressed his disappointment with Colombia over sympathising with Pakistan during Operation Sindoor. He called out Colombia for extending condolences to Pakistan for the loss of lives during India’s counter-terrorism operation. He further explained India’s stance against terrorism and his willingness to dispel any misunderstandings.
