The film is slated to release on March 15, 2024, and is directed by Sudipto Sen. At the song launch of the movie, Adah talked about the struggles of CRPF women whom she met during the making of the movie. She also mentioned that after '1920', people kept asking her to make horror movies to which Adah answered that 'Bastar- The Naxal Story' is nothing less than a horror story. As farmers struggle to contain the fast spreading Lumpy Skin Disease, an infectious disease that has affected an estimated 19,000 cattle in the state, dairy unions fear milk shortages will disrupt market and hit consumers. According to the Food and Agriculture Organisation (FAO) of the United Nations, LSD is a viral vector-borne contagious pox disease seen in domestic cattle and the Asian water buffalo.
