On 26th of February, PM Narendra Modi inaugurated and laid the foundation stone and dedicated to the nation over 2000 railway infrastructure projects worth around Rs 41,000 crores. On this occasion, Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the projects. He also vowed to transform the railway industry. Aswini Vaishnaw informed that soon the railway will be exporting India’s Vande Bharat Express for which the process has been started. The Ministry of Railways is readying a roadmap to start the export of Vande Bharat Train by 2025-26. They are also working to increase production of Bande Bharat trains..

'Just looking like a wow' trend, which can be traced back to Jasmine Kaur, who posted the video on her Instagram profile, has taken the internet by storm. Vaishnaw’s comments came weeks after he shared concept images of luxurious Vande Bharat's Sleeper Coaches. Scheduled to be launched by the Indian Railways in 2024, the Vande Bharat sleeper train is set to revolutionize long-distance overnight train travel in India. The first Vande Bharat Express was launched in 2019 from Delhi to Varanasi and since then the semi-high-speed train has become a popular mode of transport within the country.

Chandrayaan-3, India’s ambitious lunar mission slept forever as Moon goes dark again. Scientists are hoping that they would be able to revive Vikram Lander, Pragyan Rover with the rise of the Sun on Sept 23 at the South Pole. However, after several attempts of trying to wake up them up, there was no response from Chandrayaan-3. Although, Scientists have not lost hope of the revival of Chandrayaan-3. Astronomer and Professor Dr RC Kapoor said that there is still 1 pc chance of lander and rover’s revival. However, the lander and rover have done their best and provided sufficient data to the ISRO. Both the lander and the rover were put into sleep mode on September 4 and 2 respectively. After a 40-day journey into space, Chandrayaan-3 made a ‘historic’ landing on August 23 at lunar South Pole making India the first country to do so.

On September 16, General Manager of Integral Coach Factory, B G Mallya, addressed mediapersons and spoke about major projects, including Vande Bharat Express and Vande Metro. BG Mallya also informed that both projects are scheduled to be completed in this financial year. While addressing the media, B G Mallya, General Manager of Integral Coach Factory, said, "We'll be launching the sleeper version of the Vande within this financial year. We'll also be launching the Vande Metro this financial year. We'll be launching this train for non-air conditioned passengers, which is called a non-AC push-pull train and will have 22 coaches and a locomotive. And that launch is going to happen before October 31st."

In a major development, ISRO announced that ‘Vikram lander’ of the Chandrayaan-3 mission has been set into sleep mode. This significant development took place at approximately 8 a.m. IST on September 04. ISRO said that the data collected by the payloads is received at the Earth and the Payloads are now switched off. Taking to X, ISRO informed that ‘Vikram’ will fall asleep next to Pragyan once the solar power is depleted and the battery is drained. Prior to that, in-situ experiments by ChaSTE, RAMBHA-LP, and ILSA payloads were performed at new location. On August 23, India took a giant leap as the Chandrayaan-3 successfully landed on Moon’s south pole. Notably, India became the fourth country after the US, China, and USSR to have successfully landed on the Moon’s surface. Vikram Lander, Pragyan rover performed different set tasks on the lunar surface including finding the presence of sulphur, and recording relative temperature.

Chandrayaan-3’s rover Pragyan has been put into sleep mode now as it completed all its assignments. The rover has traversed over 100 metres on the Moon’s surface and now has been parked safely. ISRO on September 02 informed that the APXS and LIBS payloads have been turned off. 11 days ago, India scripted history after Lander Vikram’s safe ‘touchdown’ on Moon’s South Pole. Since then, Rover Pragyan and Lander Vikram have carried out several operations on the Moon’s surface. The temperature profile of the lunar topsoil was checked to understand the thermal behaviour of the Moon. After the success of the lunar mission, India has continued its space exploration with its solar mission Aditya-L1. On Sept 02, ISRO successfully launched its much-anticipated ‘Aditya-L1’ mission to the Sun from Satish Dhawan Space Centre.

Praggnanandhaa’s coach is optimistic that the Indian Grandmaster will win the title. “I am very optimistic about Prags chances. He needs to get a good night’s sleep today, definitely, that will be very crucial. He is already feeling really good about himself, he knows that he is playing well, so there is not much to give advice to him. But, we just briefly discuss his opening strategies,” RB Ramesh said.Praggnanandhaa will face World No. 1 Magnus Carlsen for the title clash on Tuesday.
