Iran has launched a major ballistic missile barrage towards Jordan, with the IRGC claiming its missiles targeted a US-linked military facility and caused heavy damage to aircraft-related infrastructure. According to Iranian claims, the operation targeted Al-Azraq air base in Jordan, with areas used by US F-35, F-16 and F-15 fighter aircraft allegedly coming under attack. Iranian media has also identified Muwaffaq Al-Salti Air Base as the reported target, although the claims of damage remain unconfirmed. Jordanian authorities say their air defences intercepted 18 of 20 Iranian missiles detected heading towards the country's territory. Footage circulating from Jordan appears to show projectiles and explosions in the night sky as the country responds to the incoming barrage. WATCH
