A Hyderabad court has sentenced five Nepali nationals to seven days in jail after they were convicted in a woman harassment case that triggered widespread outrage online. The incident occurred near the Nizam College PG Hostel area when a woman alleged that one of the accused passed inappropriate remarks and attempted to grab her arm while she was travelling with her husband.
