A group of about 60 felines will soon be translocated from an Argentine zoo to an Indian sanctuary due to overpopulation. The tigers and lions will travel from Argentina to India to live in Anant Ambani’s ‘Vantara’. The ‘Vantara’ owned by Anant Ambani in Gujarat, has thousands of hectares and a rescue centre for elephants. The Lujan Zoo, 60 kilometers in Buenos Aires, was closed during COVID-19 but would be reopened soon. The zoo has an overpopulation of felines, including ligers- lion and tiger crosses, pumas. ‘Vantara’ in Gujarat’s Jamnagar was recently launched in February 2024 by Reliance Industries and Reliance Foundation. Vantara, an ambitious program is dedicated to the rescue, treatment, care, and rehabilitation of animals. The rescue, rehabilitation center spanning 650 acres has been established within the extensive 3000-acre premises in Jamnagar.

Indian-Maldives Spat: With the ongoing issue where the Maldives has been facing a boycott from India, which is one of its biggest sources of tourism. This started after three of its officials made derogatory remarks against PM Modi over his Lakshadweep visit. The Israel Defence Forces said it struck over 200 targets of the terrorist group in the Al Furkan neighbourhood of Gaza Strip. Times of Israel reported that IDF bombed the house of the father of Mohammed Deif, the head of Hamas' military wing. In what was its third aerial assault in the area, Israeli fighter jets struck 450 Hamas targets in the neighbourhood. As the war entered its fifth day, IDF informed that over 4,500 rockets have been fired, so far, from Gaza. Over 770 Palestinians have also been killed in the air raids as part of the ongoing counter-offensive. Israel PM Benjamin Netanyahu has given a stern warning to Hamas and has vowed to finish the war. The surprise attack on Israel by the Hamas terrorist group on October 07 initiated the war. Thousands of rockets were fired into the southern and central parts of the country combined with ground assault. In retaliation, the Israeli Air Force wreaked havoc in Gaza Strip destroying several Hamas hideouts.

Hamas launched the deadliest militant attack in Israel’s history. Hamas militants were roaming in Be'eri Kibbutz on motorcycles, vehicles. They were brandishing guns in Be'eri Kibbutz and the video was captured on CCTV. The Hamas militants pulled a dead body from a parked blue Mazda.
