Gyanvapi Case: Puja to continue in cellar, Big win for Hindu side

Allahabad High Court on 26th of February dismissed Muslim side’s plea. Harishankar Jain, a lawyer representing the Hindu side, welcomed the recent Allahabad High Court's order to allow Hindu prayers in a cellar of the Gyanvapi mosque. This is a big win for Hindu side in Gyanvapi case. The plea challenged the order permitting Hindu parties to offer puja in ‘Vyas Tehkhana’ of Gyanvapi Complex. The High Court’s decision will allow Hindus to continue the puja in ‘Vyas Tehkhana’ of Gyanvapi Complex. Notably, the complex has 4 ‘Tahkhanas’ in the basement, of which one is still in possession of the Vyas family.

Students in Moradabad paint their faces & display posters for the successful landing of Chandrayaan-3.  International Sand Artist Sudarsan Pattnaik creates a miniature sand sculpture in the US, for the successful lunar landing of Chandrayaan-3. Bharatanatyam and Kuchipudi dancer Pooja Hirwade performs Bharatanatyam on 'Namō Namō Bhāratāmbē' and Chandrayaan Anthem in Nagpur.  Havans were also performed in Delhi for the successful landing, while prayers were offered at Ajmer Sharif Dargah in Rajasthan.

Heavy downpour continues in Himachal, CM Sukhu appeals people to stay indoors

As heavy downpour continues to wreak havoc in Himachal Pradesh, Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu Monday announced helpline numbers for those seeking information about people affected by the rains. CM Sukhu appealed to the people of the state to stay indoors for the next 24 hours and cooperate with the government “in this hour of disaster.” A cloud burst in Thunag caused flash floods in Mandi Monday morning. In a viral video confirmed by the police, water is seen gushing through the roads with debris, split tree branches and mud. At least 14 lives have been lost so far, CM Sukhu said, due to the rains triggering landslides and damaging houses. The IMD issued a red alert in seven districts across the state on Sunday. Amid the surging of the river and falling of stones on the Kullu-Manali road, the movement of vehicles from Kullu and Manali towards Atal Tunnel and Rohtang has been completely stopped. As many as thirteen landslides and nine flash floods have been reported in the state in the past 36 hours, while 736 roads have been closed to traffic.
