As another week starts with no Covid-19 relaxations from the civic body and the state government, city traders have threatened a protest and to vote out the Shiv Sena in the municipal elections to be held early next year. Sources from the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation, however, indicated that there may be some relaxation in timings next week.

Traders and civil society of Jammu and Kashmir unanimously rejected the additional relief package sanctioned by the Central government for the floods that struck the state last September. The government had on Tuesday (June 16) approved a relief package worth rupees 24.37 billion for the state which is still trying to come to terms with the damage caused by the worst flooding in decades.
