CM Vishnu Deo’s swearing-in ceremony: PM Modi’s gesture wins Governor's heart

Prime Minister Narendra Modi attended the oath-taking ceremony of Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai on December 13. A moving gesture of PM Modi at the stage hogged the limelight at CM Vishnu Deo’s swearing-in ceremony. PM Modi was seen helping octogenarian Chhattisgarh Governor Biswabhusan Harichandan to adjust the table on stage. Both, PM Modi and Chhattisgarh Governor were seen sharing a smile. Governor Biswabhusan Harichandan administered the oath of office and secrecy to Sai and his two deputies during a grand ceremony held at the Science College ground attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, BJP president JP Nadda, Union ministers Amit Shah and Nitin Gadkari, and chief ministers of some states.

He washed feet and sought apology from the Sidhi victim. Earlier, a video of drunkard urinating on the face of another man in Madhya Pradesh was doing rounds on social media. The shameful incident occurred in Kubri village in the Sidhi district of Madhya Pradesh. However, the accused has been identified as Pravesh Shukla. A case has been registered against the accused under sections 294, 504 of the IPC and SC/ST Act, and NSA. CM Shivraj strongly condemned the shameful act and promised to take stringent action against the accused.

Sidhi Administration bulldozed illegal encroachment of Sidhi pee case accused and BJP Leader Pravesh Shukla on July 05. Madhya Pradesh Home Minister Narottam Mishra had earlier said that CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan government will not hesitate to bulldoze the property of Sidhi pee case accused if he has any illegal possessions. He also said that NSA will be invoked against him.

MP Urination Case: Accused arrested under NSA, SC/ST acts

In an appalling incident, a man in Madhya Pradesh was filmed urinating on the face of a tribal boy. While there is no clarity on when the incident occurred, the video depicting the act was shared widely on social media on Tuesday, July 4, triggering widespread condemnation. The man shown in the video has reportedly been identified as Pravesh Shukla, apparently a close aide of BJP MLA Kedar Nath Shukla. A case has been registered against him under the National Security Act, SC/ST Act and sections of the Indian Penal Code. Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan reacted to the video and said that he has given orders to deliver strictest punishment to the accused. Madhya Pradesh’s Home Minister Narottam Mishra also informed that action is being taken against the accused and that orders of investigation have also been given. Madhya Pradesh police on July 05 arrested accused Pravesh Shukla into custody.
